Senior Automation/Manual QA Engineer (C#)

Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer (C#/.NET)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our Poland-based QA team and contribute to a long-term transformation program in the insurance and claims management domain. You will play a key role in shaping our test automation strategy, developing reliable test frameworks, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, writing, and maintaining automated test scripts (API and UI) in C#.

• Contributing to backend and frontend automation frameworks.

• Performing manual testing where needed to ensure comprehensive coverage.

• Executing and analyzing performance tests, reporting results to stakeholders.

• Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) by assisting end users.

• Providing QA estimates during sprint planning and refinement sessions.

• Coaching and mentoring other QA team members.

• Actively collaborating in Scrum teams and improving QA processes.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, including 3+ years in automation (API and UI).

• Strong programming skills in C# with ability to write and review code (not only run scripts).

• Solid knowledge of OOP principles, SOLID, and testing methodologies.

• Hands-on experience in API testing (REST#), microservice architecture, and CRUD services.

• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Xray, Visual Studio, Git, and Page Object Model.

• Knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL.

• Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with JIRA.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to contribute to both automated and manual testing.

• Excellent communication skills, with ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams.

Nice to have:

• UI automation experience.

• Experience in performance testing.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or cloud-based platforms.

Tech Stack:
