Python/Scala Developer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 12 months

Working Hours: Primarily Polish hours (9 AM - 5 PM), with occasional flexibility required

English Level: B2/C1

Project Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Python/Scala Developer for a challenging project in the real estate sector. This role involves working on large-scale data processing and financial analytics, utilizing advanced algorithms and machine learning models to analyze market data and deliver insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement solutions in Python and Scala to process and analyze large datasets.
• Work with Apache Spark for big data processing.
• Utilize AWS for cloud infrastructure (experience is a plus).
• Collaborate with a small team of 5 developers in Poland, integrating with a larger client team in the USA.
• Develop and optimize algorithms for data analysis and financial projections.
• Handle the processing of data from external systems and conduct market analysis.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong proficiency in Python and Scala.
• Familiarity with Apache Spark (or a willingness to learn).
• Experience with AWS is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and data processing techniques.
• Previous experience in a real estate or big data environment is an advantage.
