Project Manager

This position is responsible for working collaboratively with customers to execute yearly technology goals. You will coordinate with internal teams—including Product Owners, Architects, Scrum Masters, and Developers—to ensure seamless project delivery. The role requires strategic thinking throughout the project life cycle, with a strong focus on budgetary ownership and portfolio-based planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Agile Execution: Lead deliveries using Lean Agile practices and the Scrum framework; promote continuous improvement and industry best practices.

• JIRA Management: Create and maintain advanced dashboards for monitoring velocity, capacity, and burn rates to ensure full project visibility.

• Stakeholder Alignment: Identify key stakeholders, align them with a common vision, and manage both internal and external supplier relationships.

• Financial Oversight: Take ownership of project spending, secure approved funding, and track deliverables against contractual payment milestones.

• Governance & Reporting: Lead Steering Committee meetings, manage the RACI matrix, and handle formal project closure and handovers.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on Project Management experience, specifically leading large-scale, complex projects across distributed teams.

• Methodology: Expert knowledge of Lean Agile practices and experience measuring projects against Lean portfolio metrics.

• Tools: Advanced proficiency in JIRA (structuring projects, visibility boards, and reporting).

• Communication: Strong negotiation and presentation skills; ability to produce data-driven decks for executive-level discussions.

• Skills: Proactive, assertive, and capable of motivating teams while managing risks and resolving impediments.

• Languages: Full proficiency in English (English + Italian is a significant plus).

• Certification: Preferably Certified Project Manager (PMI, Prince2) and Agile certified.

Technical & Industry Assets

• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud environments.

• Knowledge of Lottery systems, Player Platforms, CRM features, or Data Protection.
