Open Text Exstream Developer

🎯 Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned OpenText Exstream Developer to join our Document Management team. This is a fully remote position supporting a complex, enterprise-level environment. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining document applications using OpenText Exstream technology.

🛠 Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop applications using HP/OpenText Exstream (v16.2+)
• Build and maintain templates for document generation (PDF, HTML) using Exstream Designer
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Provide technical support and resolve system-related issues
• Work with QA and development teams to ensure software meets the definition of done
• Participate in Proof of Concept and prototyping activities when needed

✅ Requirements:

• 6+ years of application development and programming experience
• Strong hands-on experience with OpenText Exstream version 16.2 or higher
• Proficient in designing complex document layouts (tables, dynamic sections) and handling various input file types (XML, delimited, columnar)
• Experience with output formats: PDF, HTML
• Familiarity with Unix commands
• Experience in migration, enhancement, and production support of document applications

🎁 Nice to Have:

• SQL Server experience (creating tables, writing insert/update queries, data modeling)
• Exposure to ETL tools or development
• Knowledge of Messagepoint is a strong advantage
