Network Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Security Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of security controls for networking and network architecture.
• Design & Deployment: Lead the architectural design and deployment of network security products, including:
• Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Checkpoint) – both on-premise and cloud-based.
• Cloud networking solutions (WAFs, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Virtual WAN, etc.).
• Network segmentation and VPN solutions.
• IPSec, IDP/IPS, and perimeter protection/edge security.
• Security Reference Architecture: Build and maintain security reference architectures for network deployments and hybrid scenarios.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage teams responsible for the technical delivery of network and OT security projects.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior stakeholders to identify requirements and drivers, facilitating discussions on network and security needs.

Technical Requirements:

• Experience in network security controls and architecture.
• Proven track record with network security products (firewalls, VPN, IPS/IDS, cloud networking, etc.).
• Experience in security reference architecture for hybrid and network deployments.
• Expertise in cloud networking and security (WAF, NSGs, Azure Firewall).

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years in IT and IT Security, with at least 3 years in network design and deployment, and 2 years in cloud computing.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills for stakeholder management.
• Leadership: Ability to lead technical project teams and drive security-related discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Travel: Willingness to travel within the EMEIA region.
