Senior Security Engineer

• Position: Senior Security Engineer – Application Security

• Salary: up to 28 000 PLN gross/month COE (UoP)

• Working mode: Remote

Role summary

This role focuses on enhancing application security by working closely with engineering teams, embedding security into the software development lifecycle, and proactively identifying risks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Application Security or DevSecOps

• Strong understanding of secure SDLC and secure coding practices

• Experience with cloud environments (Azure or AWS)

• Knowledge of application security testing (SAST, DAST, code reviews)

• Ability to assess risks in complex systems

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Nice to have: experience with .NET and SaaS platforms

Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments and code reviews

• Integrate security practices into the development lifecycle (“shift left”)

• Partner with engineering teams on secure architecture and design

• Implement and maintain application security tools

• Identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions

• Advocate for security best practices across teams
