Infrastructure Engineer / Cloud Engineer

Key responsibilities:

• Manage IaC and Terraform state (or Bicep/ARM), including modularization and splitting of large state files for complex event-driven systems to reduce deployment complexity and operational risk.

• Provision and operate Azure resources such as Event Hubs, Service Bus, Storage, Synapse/Databricks, AKS, and coordinate cross-cloud integration with GCP services (Pub/Sub, BigQuery) where required.

• Implement IAM automation, enforce least-privilege security policies, and ensure comprehensive audit logging across Azure and cross-cloud integrations.

• Enable multi-version event schema deployments and automate release processes for event versioning.

• Build infrastructure-level resilience patterns, flow control mechanisms, observability, alerting, and operational runbooks.

Requirements:

• 3–7+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with strong focus on Azure.

• Strong expertise in Terraform (or Bicep), state management, and modular IaC design patterns.

• Experience working with large-scale, high-cardinality infrastructure environments and complex state management challenges.
