Google Cloud Security SME

We are seeking a Cloud Security Consultant to lead and deliver cloud security projects encompassing service delivery, business development, and related activities. This role offers the chance to collaborate with industry experts and work with cutting-edge tools to address critical global security challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Align security management strategies with business goals.
• Focus on cloud security and architecture, lead technical discussions, and guide the development of strategic and tactical cloud security frameworks.
• Conduct technical reviews of cloud security architectures and act as a consultant for both traditional and evolving security setups.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with cloud security standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO, CSA STAR).
• Proven ability to deliver quality client services efficiently.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Google Associate Cloud Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or similar.
• Expertise in domains like routing/switching, firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and threat management in cloud or on-premise settings.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with security for cloud technologies such as IAM, SIEM, PKI, and application security.
• Familiarity with DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Expertise in recommending cloud computing technologies and implementing security measures.
• Background in Security as Code.
