Fixed Assets Consultant

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) as a user.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of US GAAP and accounting standards in France, Italy, Czech Republic, and Germany.

Responsibilities:

• Asset verification and tracking: Conducting physical inventories, tagging assets with barcodes or RFID, and reconciling physical assets with accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Valuation and accounting: Performing asset valuations, calculating depreciation, and maintaining accurate registers for both tangible and intangible assets.

• Strategic asset management: Developing strategies to improve asset utilization, extend asset lifecycle, and enhance overall performance.

• Mergers and acquisitions support: Providing fixed-asset analysis during M&A processes to support negotiations, due diligence, and post-integration activities.

• System implementation: Supporting implementation and configuration of fixed-asset management tools and ensuring integration with other financial systems.

• Financial optimization: Identifying cost-saving opportunities, optimizing maintenance planning, and analyzing asset performance from a financial perspective.
