FinOps

The Cloud FinOps Analyst will support the reporting, analysis, and communication of the company’s cloud spending. The candidate will provide financial insights across finance, technology, and operations, develop budgets, forecasts, monitor cloud cost KPIs, and drive transparency and optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Act as FinOps Lead for cloud projects, services, and R&D.
• Provide financial support for budget reconciliation, variance reporting, and gap analysis.
• Lead the monthly close process and analyze trends in actuals vs. forecast.
• Deliver independent high-quality analysis using tools like MS Power BI.
• Analyze large datasets to identify cost control issues and risks.
• Collaborate with engineering and finance to improve the cloud chargeback process.
• Develop automated workflows to enhance chargeback efficiency.
• Data visualization using Power BI, Power Query, and analytical expressions (DAX, MDX) is a plus.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years in financial planning, accounting, cost management, or data analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and cloud cost management practices (showback/chargeback).
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, and tools like Apptio Cloudability (a plus).
• Knowledge of accounting policies and SOX compliance.
