Job description

Tasks:

  • Act as a Data Engineer for the Google Cloud Platform projects: scalable and re-usable, self-service frameworks for data ingestion implementation of warehouses, data lakes, data marts and data processing pipeline solutions for new and existing clients.
  • Build and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable data architectures for analytics and reporting.
  • Implement data quality checks and data validation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of the data.
  • Maintain and update data documentation and data dictionaries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.


Requirements:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in the Data & Analytics area.
  • 2+ years of experience in GCP.
  • Proven experience with GCP cloud services (like: BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Workflows, Dataflow).
  • Proven experience with GIT.
  • Great knowledge and skills of SQL and at least general knowledge one of following programming languages: Java, Python.
  • Knowledge of the DWH, Data Lake, Lakehouse design principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Very good communication, verbal and written in English.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity.


Nice to have:

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
  • Experience with data frameworks like dbt, with ETL tools like Talend and with data movement platforms like Fivetran would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
  • Proven experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Capable of working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative, cross-functional and cross-cultural environment.
