Data Business Analyst

As a Data Business Analyst, you act as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions. You will be involved in building or rebuilding a data platform, working with data products and helping to design advanced solutions around data and analytics. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand expected outcomes and elicit business features, while managing delivery dependencies across other teams and organisational units. You will operate in an Agile environment as an integral part of a cross-functional delivery team, bringing a solution-oriented and analytical mindset. You should thrive when working with complex, end-to-end solutions and processes, be able to quickly grasp new technologies at a high level, ask the right questions and communicate fluently with business users. Banking knowledge and experience will be considered an asset.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a link between business needs and developers to ensure delivery of high-quality IT solutions

• Contribute to the build or rebuild of a data platform

• Work with data products and support the design of advanced data and analytics solutions

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand desired outcomes and define business features

• Manage delivery dependencies towards other teams and organisational units

• Work as part of a cross-functional Agile delivery team

Ideal candidate profile

• Knowledge of SQL

• Experience working with complex requirements

• Experience in data analysis, data hygiene and data quality

• Experience with Hive

• Strong communication skills

• Ownership and independence in handling tasks, features and user stories

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with basic concepts in machine learning, CI/CD pipelines and big data

• Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms

• Python coding skill

• Experience with Spark

• Fluent English, both spoken and written

Conditions

• B2B contract with an hourly rate of 100–120 PLN net
