Project

You will be involved in a financial project for an international banking client, focused on data handling, harmonization and regulatory reporting support. The project aims to ensure high-quality, well-documented financial data, supporting regulatory compliance, controls, analysis and reporting across systems.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Handling and harmonizing large financial data sets across multiple systems

• Designing and documenting data structures and ETL flows within and across applicationsContributing to end-to-end functional design of reporting and control solutions

• Documenting metadata (data lineage, assumptions, regulatory purpose, reporting framework)

• Supporting analysis, reporting and sign-off processes for regulatory and financial data

• Leading discussions with business and technical stakeholders to define and clarify requirements

• Utilizing AI solutions to improve efficiency and propose new data-related use cases

• Working with tasks and documentation in JIRA

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in financial or regulatory data projects

• Proven experience with large data sets and advanced SQL

• Hands-on experience with databases such as Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and balance sheet structures, including financial instruments

• Experience in data documentation, data governance or regulatory data obligations

• Strong communication skills and ability to drive stakeholder discussions

• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
