The Automation Tester will be a part of the Scrum team located in Warsaw, with the Product Owner on the Danish side. The team is responsible for building from scratch a .NET-based, Azure application called Elements.

Your responsibilities:

1. Planning and defining quality levels for new and existing features
2. Defining test scenarios and test cases for new and existing features
3. Designing, creating, and maintaining automated tests for different solution areas
4. Writing automated Playwright tests based on user stories or another test basis with a risk-based approach
5. Executing tests and documenting deviations in the form of bug reports
6. Active participation in Refinements, Planning, and Estimation sessions within the Scrum Team
7. Performing manual, exploratory testing
8. Sharing QA practices with developers (teaching them how to ensure quality)
9. Working in close cooperation with solution architects, developers, and POs, gathering business knowledge, and supporting local teams of testers and developers

Personal Requirements:

1. At least 5 years of professional experience in functional testing
2. At least 2 years of professional experience in automated testing
3. Experience in TypeScript
4. Experience in GIT
5. Deep knowledge and experience in testing frameworks and tools (like Playwright)
6. Experience in FE and BE testing (API, Postman, Swagger, SQL)
7. Experience in Shift-left testing
8. Working experience in Scrum and distributed teams
9. Planning/Refinement/Estimation skills
10. Have a focus on Customer needs/requirements
11. ISTQB knowledge
12. Higher education in computer science or a related field
13. Fluency in communication both in English and Polish
14. Ability and attitude to learn new things
15. Good communication skills
16. High independence and fast-learning skills

Nice to have requirements:

1. Experience with DDD or TDD
2. Experience in C#
3. Experience with Azure DevOps
4. Have experience with cloud services (preferably Microsoft Azure)
5. Experience with conducting demos
6. Experience with message brokers (Kafka)
7. Experience with the creation of Contract Tests
8. Experience with non-functional tests (performance, security, recovery)
9. Any level of proficiency in Danish
