Job description

Online interview
We are a product development organization located in Poland, Denmark and India. We have 3 scrum teams in India with Tech PO’s (drives technology and product agenda) located in Poland and 1 team located across Poland and Denmark. We deliver a product called KMD Logic. KMD Logic is a platform. This means we are not building a domain-specific product. Instead, we focus on furthering software reuse across our KMD products. In practical terms, it means we are delivering infrastructure and software where people can expose different reusable (so domain-independent) components as services. To make it even more clear we are providing core services (and make sure they are running in a reliable manner) like API gateway, logging, audit, consumption tracking (and billing) and many others. It happens from time to time, that due to the gaps in our internal offering, our development teams are also delivering components/services themselves (like identity platform or SMS service for…. yes, sending SMS). We also make sure those components are discoverable (easy to find and well-described) for anyone in our org. (otherwise how they would know). All that fully based on Azure, .NET core (partially .NET 5), AKS, a bit of React, dozens of services on Azure. On top: Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, infrastructure as a code, temporary environments for testing, basically quite cool stuff, but… well it comes with a price. Multiple products depend on us and our goal is to provide value for them (shortening the time to market) but also keeping all those things alive. And we are the ones responsible for that. For that, we need a person to strengthen our DevOps practices.

After your morning coffee you will be:

  • Driving our DevOps agenda as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Advising on a direction for a platform and aligning the vision with other stakeholders (Tech POs, manager).
  • Implementing many of the things yourself (we need hands-on and will require to implement the stuff).
  • Coaching and teaching our development teams on the DevOps journey (you are not going to be alone on the journey).
  • Strengthening security and reliability of what we have already.
  • Developing, refactoring, and improving automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure following best market practices.
  • Developing and improving platform/toolset for Azure (including monitoring, traceability, etc.)
  • Providing systems support by responding to monitoring alerts and incidents in Azure cloud environments

We want you in our team if you:

  • Hands-on, commercial experience with running production-ready software in Azure (5+ years)
  • Kubernetes (3+ years) running in production
  • Experience in Microsoft technology stack (C#, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps
  • Experience in working with various Azure-based PaaS & SaaS services
  • Experience in monitoring Azure production environments
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud security principles
  • Experience with networking
  • Familiar with GIT
  • Strong in written and spoken English, Fluent Polish
  • Higher education in computer science or related field
  • Strong communication skills
  • Being a team player

We are a perfect match if you additionally have:

  • Large/medium scale end-to-end project implementation experience
  • Experience in Agile/SCRUM framework
  • Worked previously with platform alike product
