Lead Product Designer (UX/UI)
Lead Product Designer (UX/UI)
Poland-based | B2B consultancy agreement
About the role
We’re looking for a top-tier Lead Product Designer to own and elevate the user experience across our digital products: our client portal, mobile app, and the interfaces that bridge our hardware with software.
You’ll work end-to-end: from discovery and problem framing through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI, all the way to collaborating with engineering on implementation. You’ll join forces with our product team, engineers, logistics & operations teams, and leadership to design experiences that make shipping high-value goods (€5k–€100k) feel intelligent, transparent, and safe.
Seniority & impact: this is a high-ownership role with direct access to decision-makers, a strong quality bar, and significant influence on product direction.
We’re especially looking for someone who is:
A strong visual tastemaker with unmatched aesthetics and attention to detail
Exceptionally strong in product discovery, keeping users’ needs and expectations at heart
Eager to take ownership and take a proactive stance to influence the way we develop our products
Fluent in Figma and modern AI-powered prototyping tools (v0, Lovable, etc.)
Comfortable in a hardware–software context with real-world constraints (sensors, devices, physical flows)
About the Company
We provide smart, reusable packaging and logistics intelligence for high-value shipments.
Our flagship product, a state-of-the-art container, integrates IoT sensors, e-ink displays, GPS / LTE-M connectivity, and access control. This combination offers companies complete visibility and control over shipments typically valued between €5,000 and €100,000. We serve industries such as luxury goods, art transportation, high-end e-commerce, and industrial/maintenance operations, where minimizing damage, theft, or loss is critical.
We are evolving our focus from “smart packaging” to an AI-powered logistics intelligence platform—transforming sensor and tracking data into predictive insights, automated anomaly detection, and proactive interventions.
Design is paramount to this evolution: we strive for interfaces that translate complex logistics into simple, human-centric, and reliable experiences.
What you will do
Discovery & problem framing
Plan and run product discovery with customers and internal teams (interviews, shadowing, workshops, UX research, and data analysis) to deeply understand:
how they ship and track high-value goods
their risks, fears, and “jobs to be done”
Translate fuzzy problems into clear problem statements, hypotheses, and user journeys.
Turn operational realities (logistics constraints, regulations, insurance, security) into concrete UX requirements.
Experience & interface design
Design end-to-end flows for:
Customer portal (track-and-trace, shipment management, alerts, analytics)
Hardware-adjacent UX (e-ink display states, mobile interactions around the product, handover UX)
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI in Figma that are ready for implementation.
Use modern AI prototyping tools (Claude Code, Google Stitch, Paper, v0, Lovable, etc.) for rapid prototyping and exploration, then refine with strong design judgment.
Work with and evolve our design system (components, tokens, patterns) to keep experiences consistent across apps.
Collaboration & delivery
Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Operations & Logistics to scope work realistically and ship iteratively.
Facilitate design reviews, co-creation workshops, and usability tests, turning feedback into clear next steps.
Document your thinking (flows, rationale, edge cases) so engineering and stakeholders can follow and contribute.
Support implementation with specs, design QA, and rapid iterations once things hit staging/production.
Data & continuous improvement
Help us evolve from “feature shipping” to hypothesis-driven, experiment-driven product work.
Collaborate with Product & Data to define UX success metrics.
Use both quantitative data and qualitative feedback to refine flows and reduce friction across journeys.
Who you are
Fluent in written and spoken English (French or German is a plus, but not required).
5+ years as a Product Designer / UX/UI Designer in cross-functional product teams.
Unmatched sense of visual craft and art direction.
Strong track record in B2B / complex systems (logistics, fintech, SaaS, operations, industrial, or similar).
Demonstrated experience in end-to-end discovery
A Figma power-user
Comfortable working with modern AI & prototyping tools (e.g., Claude Code, Google Stitch, Paper, v0, Lovable, Framer, code-assisted prototyping) and keen to integrate them into your daily workflow.
Able to simplify complex information (sensor data, shipment events, risk signals, analytics) into clear, human-friendly interfaces.
Excellent communication skills — you can present work to leadership, explain trade-offs, and listen carefully to operational realities.
A system thinker: you see how a small UI change affects operations, data, and the physical world around our products
A bias toward action: you’re comfortable shipping iteratively instead of waiting for “perfect.”
Nice to have
Hardware/IoT or hardware–software product experience (e.g., working with devices, sensors, or embedded screens).
Experience in logistics, supply chain, transport, or high-value goods.
Experience in an environment shifting from hardware to platform / data business models.
Experience mentoring others, elevating design quality through feedback, and helping improve team rituals and ways of working.
What we offer
Impactful problems: help redefine how high-value goods move around the world — with real sustainability and security impact.
Strategic seat at the table: work directly with the Head of Product, CMO, and Founder, influencing product and brand direction.
Remote+ work: flexibility to work remotely in Poland with occasional on-site sessions in France for workshops and team time.
Competitive B2B compensation.
A culture that values experimentation, learning, and ownership.
How to apply
Send us your portfolio with a few case studies that clearly show both:
your discovery process (how you found the right problem and shaped the solution), and
work that shipped to production (how you collaborated, made trade-offs, and delivered outcomes).
Based on the portfolio review, we’ll contact selected candidates with the next steps.
