OMP Consultant

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced OMP Consultant with a strong background in supply chain planning to join our client. This role involves leading the implementation, customization, and support of OMP applications while collaborating with key stakeholders, including senior leadership and executive-level clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of OMP and demonstrate the ability to manage end-to-end project phases, ensuring data integrity and streamlined business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert knowledge in OMP Demand and Supply Planning solutions, including configuration and customization.
• Understand client requirements and pain points, acting as a business integration consultant to translate these into functional solutions.
• Prepare and deliver presentations for senior leadership and executive clients.
• Ensure 100% integrity of business processes and data within OMP systems.
• Participate in all project phases: process analysis, design, validation, and deployment.
• Develop functional specifications and test modifications, interfaces, and reports for seamless integration.
• Design business workflows and process documentation to ensure effective project life cycle management.
• Serve as a functional liaison, attending key project meetings and collaborating closely with project managers, solution architects, and end-users.
• Develop and support cross-functional solutions, including integration with SAP ERP and SAP APO.
• Conduct user training and knowledge transfer during pre-implementation, Go-Live, and post-Go-Live stages.
• Provide accurate project estimates and ensure cost-effective, solution-oriented approaches.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in OMP implementation and support, especially in Demand and Supply Planning.
• Strong domain knowledge of supply chain planning; certifications in OMP are a plus.
• Excellent understanding of master and transactional data for Demand and Supply Planning.
• Proven experience designing functional and technical specifications, process workflows, and integration solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative, problem-solving approach.
• Familiarity with Solvers, OPAL, and SAP integration is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
