Project

You'll be involved in a project focused on improving a system that enables quick and easy tracking of employee working hours for both temporary and permanent contracts. Its comprehensive yet simple design allows for use in various contexts. You will work as part of a Scrum team, and as a Manual Tester you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the system.

Responsibilities you'll have 

• Manual frontend and backend testing in test environments
• REST API testing using Postman and DevTools
• Logs analysis in the tests and production environments using Graylog
• Designing, implementing and executing test cases
• Maintenance of existing test cases
• Reporting defects, tracking bugs and work progress in JIRA
• Close cooperation with the client, business analyst and development team
• Reviewing and actively helping defining issues and tasks for developers

Expected competences and knowledge

• 3+ experience in manual testing of web applications
• Experience in REST API testing (e.g., using Postman and browser developer tools)
• Ability to read system logs (e.g., in Graylog)
• SQL knowledge sufficient for data verification
• High sense of responsibility, engagement, and good work organization
• Familiarity with the Scrum methodology
• Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements
• Nice to have: previous experience with AWS
