Senior Python Backend Developer in AI

Salary: 130 - 150 PLN/h on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (2 days per week from the office)

Project

The client is embarking on an ambitious program of work to deliver a number of generative and predictive AI models to optimize the work for hundreds of people in Group Financial Crime Prevention. While we are an established and mature IT organization, working in our AI program is going to feel more like a startup! We are experimenting with methods and tooling and are seeking an experienced Python developer who doesn't mind wearing different hats. Your day to day work may involved any number of activities, from developing data pipelines, web interfaces for interacting with models, building devops pipelines to test automation, and everything in between.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Building and maintaining web applications based on Python and FastApi
• Integrating AI solutions with web applications
• Using Docker and Kubernetes to efficiently build and serve solutions
• Developing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Bamboo)
• Active participation in features planning
• Working in accordance with strict security and compliance guidelines
• Working in Scaled Agile Framework on daily basis
• Working closely with a team of QA Engineers and Data Scientists to satisfy product quality needs
• Taking the initiative and demonstrating commitment in resolving issues from various domains to ensure smooth workflow
• Occasionally involved in front-end development using React
• Leading software development topics for AMS application
• Working as a contact/knowledge point for application monitoring team

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5+ years of experience in Python development
• Proficiency with PyTest
• Strong knowledge of Git and version control practices
• Experience in building and maintaining Jenkins pipelines
• Familiarity with GitHub or Bitbucket
• Practical experience with Docker
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, or Splunk
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence

Nice to Have

• Experience with API testing using Postman, Swagger, or Robot Framework
• Skills in defining, executing, and reporting tests in Jenkins
• Familiarity with Kubernetes
