Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on ensuring high performance, scalability, and stability of enterprise-grade Java / WebLogic applications used in the banking environment.
The project operates within a complex system landscape, where application performance, monitoring, and optimization are critical to delivering a reliable and seamless user experience.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Conduct performance testing and in-depth analysis to identify bottlenecks and optimization areas in Java / WebLogic applications

• Design and implement performance optimization strategies to improve speed, responsiveness, and scalability

• Collaborate closely with software developers and architects to introduce performance enhancements at application and architecture level

• Monitor and analyze application performance metrics using dedicated monitoring tools

• Proactively and reactively identify performance issues, troubleshoot root causes, and recommend effective solutions

• Support continuous improvement by applying best practices and industry standards in application performance engineering

• Stay up to date with emerging trends and tools related to performance testing and monitoring

Expected competences and knowledge

• Proven experience as a Performance Engineer or in a similar role

• Strong understanding of application architecture and performance optimization techniques

• Hands-on experience with performance testing methodologies and tools (e.g. JMeter)

• Experience with application performance monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. AppDynamics)

• Practical experience in monitoring and optimizing WebLogic-based applications

• Familiarity with web server configuration and tuning

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams

• Experience with Temenos Core Banking will be considered an advantage
