Salary: 1000-1300 pln/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk (at least 3 days per week from the office)

Project

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a project for a leading financial group in the Nordic countries. The role focuses on developing and maintaining microservice-based applications supporting the counterparty credit risk business domain. You will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the design, development, and optimization of high-quality backend solutions that meet complex business requirements.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservice applications
• Implement and optimize RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Hibernate
• Ensure high code quality and maintainability through testing and the use of quality tools (e.g., SonarQube)
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate credit risk domain requirements into technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices within the development team

Expected competences and knowledge

• Strong experience with Java 11 or higher
• Proficiency in Spring Boot framework
• Experience in building RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate and JUnit
• Good understanding of microservice architectures
• Familiarity with code quality tools such as SonarQube

Nice to have

• Understanding of the credit risk business domain
• Experience with PostgreSQL or Oracle databases
• Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architectures
