Senior Java Developer

Salary: 1000-1300 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on developing and optimizing card payment services, including transaction processing, authorization, and integration with banking systems to ensure secure and scalable digital payment solutions.As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications that power core business services within the Cards Service Domain.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Java, Spring, Angular, Kafka
• Collaborating within agile team and ART
• Working with various internal and external stakeholders
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in existing applications
• Optimizing application performance and ensuring code quality
• Creating technical documentation for developed functionalities

Expected competences and knowledge

• Minimum 5 years of Java Software Development experience
• Practical knowledge of microservices architecture, clean code and continuous integration
• Knowledge and hands on experience of Spring Boot, Kafka, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes
• Good understanding of REST API design and integration
• Frontend experience with Angular and Angular Material
• Familiarize with CI/CD tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins
• Code versioning tools, such as GIT
• Knowledge of English
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience
