Project

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a newly formed development team working for a global leader in HR and workforce solutions. This long-term project focuses on building scalable backend systems for high-demand business operations, integrating modern cloud services, and ensuring top-level reliability and performance.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will have the opportunity to shape technical decisions, define best practices, and influence the overall architecture from the very beginning. You will work in an agile environment with a strong emphasis on clean code, maintainability, and performance optimization.

What you'll be doing

• Building new application features and modules aligned with business needs
• Continuously improving existing code to enhance scalability, readability, and performance
• Designing and delivering robust backend components and integrations
• Writing well-structured, maintainable, and efficient code in line with best engineering practices

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java backend development
• Strong proficiency in Java and solid understanding of backend development principles
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and database optimization techniques
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate Criteria API for efficient data queries
• Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment
• In-depth knowledge of the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Batch)
• Proven experience in batch processing using Spring Batch
