Senior Java Developer (Adobe, Big Data)

Salary: 1000-1200 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 3 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on developing and maintaining large-scale, scalable, and maintainable Java-based applications integrated with the Adobe Experience Platform.The solution supports real-time and batch data processing, leveraging big data technologies to ensure performance, reliability, and secure data management across multiple enterprise environments. The project emphasizes high-quality engineering standards, documentation, and collaboration within cross-functional teams in a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Design and develop large-scale Java applications for the Adobe Experience Platform, ensuring scalability and maintainability
• Write, test, and debug high-quality and secure Java EE and Java-based code
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high development standards
• Implement and perform unit and automated testing to guarantee code functionality and stability
• Collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, QA teams, and developers to achieve project goals
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all development phases, tasks, and procedures
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement within the engineering team

Expected competences and knowledge

• Core Java 8 expertise, including deep understanding of collections, multithreading, and JVM internals
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Python scripting for automation and data handling
• At least 5 years of experience with Spring Boot and Spring Data frameworks
• Proven experience in enterprise development using J2EE technologies, JBoss, or Apache Tomcat
• Strong background in data engineering – creating data flows, ETL processes, and integrating with big data systems
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (Spark, HBase, Cascading) for large-volume data processing
• Proficiency in both SQL (MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
• Expertise in RESTful API design and integration for data exchange and service delivery
• Strong command of Git for version control and collaborative development
• Good understanding of business processes to align technical solutions with strategic objectives
• Good communication skills and proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Agile / SAFe methodologies
• Experience with cloud solutions, preferably AWS
