Salary: 800 - 1100 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

We are seeking an IT Operations Specialist to join our client's Default Management technology team, focusing on the operational excellence, reliability and performance of our Oracle Database and ETL solutions. This is a senior level position within a DevOps framework, dedicated to operational activities. 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Own end-to-end operational readiness and production support, ensuring system stability and efficiency
• Provide daily operational support including monitoring, troubleshooting, incident and problem management, and root cause analysis
• Monitor Oracle DB and ETL processes, system performance, and business workflows; perform health checks and preventive maintenance
• Handle and resolve support tickets, analyze logs, and maintain documentation and knowledge base
• Troubleshoot complex issues across pre-production and production environments
• Execute and coordinate database and ETL deployments following ITIL practices, including post-deployment validation and rollback
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure clear communication with stakeholders on incidents, releases, and ongoing operations

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle DB and ETL operations and support, including proficiency in writing and optimizing database queries
• Strong knowledge of Oracle architecture, performance and database administration
• Experience with Linux infrastructure and environment management, and familiarity with DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Git and database change management tools (Liquibase, Flyway etc)
• Solid programming skills in languages such as Python, Java or C#
• Experience with monitoring tools and alerting systems (e.g. Splunk)
• ITIL Foundation certification
• Nice-to-have experience in financial services or banking applications and leveraging AI capabilities such as Github Copilot to streamline and improve operational workflows
