Senior IT Analyst

Salary: 900 - 1100 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Warszawa (at least 1 day per week from the office)

Project

---

You will join a financial project focused on optimizing IT solutions for the consumer card services sector. As part of a high-performing Scrum Team (Cards Customer Service domain: issuing and authorization), you will deliver analysis across all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for Mainframe applications, closely collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and offshore teams.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business strategies and objectives

• Translate business strategies into detailed technical requirements for the IT team

• Prepare and manage the requirements on Mainframe applications

• Liaise with IT developers, architects, and other technical staff to ensure that business requirements are clearly understood and accurately implemented

• Analyse and map current business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization

• Develop and propose new business processes that align with strategic goals

• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and obtain sign-off from business stakeholders

• Provide training and support to business users to ensure successful implementation

• Generate reports and provide insights to stakeholders on the effectiveness of implemented solutions

   

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5–8 years of professional experience in IT or business areas, preferably in the banking and financial services industry (especially consumer card services)

• Proven experience with Agile methodologies, SAFe framework, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Hands-on experience in Test-Driven Development

• Strong background in data mapping, data migration, and process modelling

• Proficiency with SQL, analysis tools, and methodologies

• Solid technical knowledge for effective collaboration with developers and architects

• Experience working with UML; ability to read and create solution designs

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the banking sector

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously

• Effective collaboration within cross-functional and international teams

• Eagerness to learn, grow, and actively share knowledge to strengthen team performance

• Strong understanding of the card's domain (issuing, authorisation)
