Senior ETL Developer

Salary: 1100 - 1450 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdańsk / Warszawa  (2-3 days per week from the office)

Project

We are looking for a Senior ETL Developer for our client from the banking sector, who will join a team responsible for building and maintaining modern data integration and backend solutions supporting rating and credit decision processes. The role focuses on designing and developing scalable ETL solutions, integrating multiple data sources and systems, and delivering stable, high-quality software in a regulated financial environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and data users while contributing to modern engineering practices and AI-driven software delivery optimization.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Develop and engineer ETL solutions with high standards of reliability and stability
• Design and implement scalable backend and data integration solutions
• Collaborate with business partners, architects, and data consumers to address business needs
• Manage end-to-end solution delivery from requirements gathering to production deployment
• Optimize engineering workflows using AI tools to improve efficiency and maintainability
• Support technical leadership initiatives, code quality standards, and engineering best practices

Expected competences and knowledge

• Strong hands-on experience with ETL development and data integration - min. 5 years
• Solid knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and Python
• Experience with event-driven systems such as Kafka
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
• Practical knowledge of Spring Boot or similar backend frameworks
• Experience incorporating AI tools into software engineering processes
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Nice to have
  • Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and principles
