Project

You will be responsible for designing and developing integrations between an e-commerce platform (VTEX) and an enterprise-grade search solution based on Google technologies (Cloud Search / AI Search layer).

The project focuses on enabling fast, scalable, and consistent access to data across the organization by building data connectors, synchronization pipelines, and optimized search models. You will work on data ingestion, transformation, and indexing, ensuring high-quality search results and system reliability.

Expected competences and knowledge

• Experience working with VTEX (VTEX IO / APIs / integrations)
• Strong knowledge of REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Experience in building data connectors or integration systems
• Understanding of data modeling (JSON, event schemas, mapping)
• Basic knowledge of search systems (enterprise search, indexing)
• Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript or Node.js
• Experience working with distributed systems and event-driven architecture
• Experience working in Agile environments

What you will be doing

• Design and implement data connectors between VTEX and enterprise search platforms
• Integrate VTEX with a Google-based search layer (Cloud Search / AI Search)
• Extract, transform, and normalize data (products, categories, content, metadata)
• Build and maintain data synchronization pipelines (batch and near real-time)
• Collaborate with teams responsible for intranet and source systems
• Define data models and indexing schemas tailored for search use cases
• Optimize data quality for search relevance, ranking, and filtering
• Monitor connector performance and handle production incidents
• Contribute to the design of integration architecture (API-first, event-driven)
