Backend Engineer (Node.js; 100% remote)

For our Client from banking industry we are looking for Backend Engineer (Node.js) to plan, design, develop, configure, document, deploy, troubleshoot and maintain software applications and services. The successful candidate should be innovative, energetic and comfortable leading and contributing to provide the most astonishing of customer experiences.

The Backend Engineer will collaborate as a member on a team of developers, business analysts, product managers, and QA/testing staff focused on delivering a secure and top-notch new digital experience for Client's internal and external customers. The candidate should be able to bring technical expertise and industry best practice to the development team to ensure outstanding software development and delivery. Further, the candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team to develop features and capabilities as well as resolve issues or defects.

100% remote job and polish working hours.

Expectations

• Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, TSS, Node.js

• Nice to have: React, Tailwind, CSS, NextJS or similar frameworks

• Experience with automated testing frameworks like Jest, Playwright or Cyprus

• Expertise with responsive and mobile design, Cross browser development and use of API

• Experience in Web services including SOAP and REST

• Advanced knowledge of source control and change control practices with a propensity to adhere to the established standards

• Experience with build automation and deployment tools (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

• Experience deploying applications in a containerized, cloud environment (e.g., Kubernetes)

• Development experience with web applications deployed in complex, multi-tiered environments

• Knowledge of SQL Queries and Stored Procedures is a plus

• Dynatrace expertise would be a bonus

• Financial Services experience a plus
