Key Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the organisation’s technical information security posture across cloud and infrastructure
• Design, build, and operate secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure) using security-by-design principles
• Implement and maintain security controls including IAM (least privilege, MFA), monitoring, logging, vulnerability management, and system hardening
• Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and automation
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and change management workflows
• Ensure secure networking, encryption, backups, resilience, and environment segregation
• Lead technical penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and remediation activities
• Act as technical lead for security incidents, supporting investigation, containment, and recovery
• Translate security findings into concrete technical improvements
• Provide technical input, evidence, and assurance to support audits and regulatory requirements

 

 

Skills & Experience

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering and information security
• Excellent understanding of networking in on-premises and cloud
• Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) applied in practice
• Experience with DevOps tooling, automation, and secure system design
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or cloud security certifications are desirable
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
