Senior Android Developer

Salary: 1000 - 1200 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (2/3 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on building and enhancing modern payment solutions used by thousands of customers. The project emphasizes high-quality mobile development, scalability, security, and seamless user experience across multiple platforms. You will work in a cross-functional team, contributing to the entire software development lifecycle while helping shape the architecture and technical direction of the Android applications.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose

• Create scalable and maintainable solutions following MVVM and Clean Architecture principles

• Collaborate with iOS and web teams to maintain platform consistency and alignment

• Implement and optimize reactive data flows using Coroutines, StateFlow and RxJava

• Develop and maintain multi-module application architecture and dependency injection solutions

• Write and maintain automated tests, including unit, UI and flow tests

• Contribute to CI/CD processes, code reviews, and cupport integration with RESTful APIs 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Strong commercial experience with Kotlin and Java development - min. 5 years

• Expert knowledge of Android SDK and Jetpack Compose

• Solid understanding of Android Architecture Components, MVVM, and Clean Architecture

• Experience with reactive programming using Coroutines, StateFlow and/or RxJava

• Practical knowledge of dependency injection and multi-module application architecture

• Experience in writing unit, integration, UI, and flow tests using JUnit, Mockito, Espresso and Turbine

• Good understanding of Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems

• Excellent communication skills in English (min. B2 level)

• Nice to have: 
  - experience in the payments or fintech domain
  - backend development experience with Java
  - understanding of iOS development and web technologies (Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript
