Salary: 800-1000pln/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 1 day per week from the office)

Project

---

We are looking for a Release Manager to join a financial project focused on managing deployments in a dynamic, high-quality environment.

The ideal candidate has a degree in IT, strong coordination and planning skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. You should be comfortable with Agile/Scrum/SAFe frameworks, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and be flexible to support releases outside standard working hours.

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• IT project management and planning skills (7+ years)
• Previous experience from release or deployment management activities (preferably from the banking sector)
• Experience working with incident, problem, and change management tools and processes under ITIL framework
• Understanding of DevOps ways of working
• Confident working with Project Management tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Experience working with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices
• Experience with working on the edge of IT and business, with solid understanding of business aspects
• Basic technical skills
• Have extra-ordinary communication skills and fundamental technical knowledge in order to communicate with the development team(s) and create & validate deployment runbooks in collaboration with the team
• Have the passion to work with industry-leading Release Orchestration tools to create automated release pipelines with the help of technical experts
• Practical understanding of Agile, Scrum, SAFe methodologies
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English
• Flexibility: able to work outside standard business hours (evenings and weekends) for the implementation of events

 

Nice to have

• Java and Mainframe (MF) skills

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Coordinating, planning and maintaining the release roadmap for one or more applications
• Release and deployment planning and coordination of multiple parallel releases
• Planning release go-live and post-go-live activities
• Planning, coordinating and tracking change activities throughout the release process
• Leading release decision meetings to secure stakeholder approval for each release milestone
• Planning and setting up handover sessions from development teams to operations teams
• Increasing release quality and efficiency by integrating new techniques, automation capabilities and DevOps ways of working into release orchestration
