Penetration Tester / Security Test Coordinator

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist focusing on conducting penetration tests. The person in this role will be responsible for independently planning and performing penetration tests on Jit Team's and its clients' applications and infrastructure. Additionally, they will manage and coordinate activities related to penetration testing, monitor IT infrastructure security, and work on its continuous improvement. This will include, among other responsibilities, coordinating the execution of tasks assigned to subcontractors in this area.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Conducting analyses and penetration/security tests of applications, infrastructure, and systems
• Coordinating and managing penetration tests, including planning, supervising execution, and analyzing results
• Monitoring and assessing security threats and implementing countermeasures
• Collaborating with the Cybersecurity, IT, and DevOps teams to identify, analyze, and resolve vulnerabilities
• Preparing test reports, presenting findings to stakeholders, and recommending corrective actions
• Participating in IT security projects and supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing security
• Maintaining relationships with external partners (subcontractors), defining external tasks, and reviewing the results of outsourced work

 

 

What do we expect?

• +4 years of experience in IT, with a significant portion focused on cybersecurity
• Proven experience in conducting and coordinating penetration tests
• Practical knowledge of tools and techniques used in penetration testing (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK)
• Familiarity with testing standards and methodologies (OWASP Web/Mobile Testing Guide, OSSTMM, PTES, ASVS)
• Understanding of vulnerability classification and categorization standards (CVSS, CWE, CVE)
• Strong ability to work independently, coupled with a desire for continuous learning and self-development
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Advanced proficiency in English
