Test Automation Engineer (embedded)

About the Project

For our Client - a global logistics company we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer with experience working with embedded systems. 

Work Mode: 100% remote

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts and frameworks tailored for embedded systems
• Design and implement test tools and harnesses that emulate real-world hardware scenarios for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing
• Set up and oversee CI/CD pipelines using platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
• Seamlessly embed automated testing into the development cycle to facilitate quick feedback loops and early detection of defects
• Conduct automated tests to assess functionality, performance, and system resilience
• Evaluate test outcomes, report issues, and work closely with development teams to resolve them
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including test plans, test cases, and procedures
• Generate clear and detailed test reports, tracking key quality indicators, trends, and identified issues
• Stay up to date with the latest testing tools and strategies, continuously enhancing test effectiveness and coverage
• Manage and maintain test environments - both virtual setups and physical lab infrastructure
• Guarantee the robustness and scalability of the testing ecosystem to support continuous product development

Expectations

• Min. 3 years of experience on a similar position
• Practical experience in testing embedded systems, with a solid grasp of hardware and software integration
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, along with strong knowledge of version control tools
• Strong analytical thinking, keen attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
• Background in agile software development methodologies and workflows
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly
• English on an advanced level (written and spoken)
