We are looking for Murex Configuration and Environmens Management Expert with wide experience in Murex architecture concepts, development and support experience.

 As a part of project developers team the expert will be responsible for:

• Analysing stakeholders requirements, formulating design and developments in order to meet project target expectations.
• Delivering and supporting Murex, managing the quality of functional delivery and ensuring the implementation
• Perform a variuos levels of testing as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)
• Communicating the principles, standards, vision and roadmaps to stakeholders and proactively addressing any questions / concerns identified
• Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in both business and IT to assist in defining and delivering high quality solutions
• Reporting on progress, issues, showstoppers to manager and other stake holders
• Understanding the impact of new changes into production
• Ensure deep collabation across project members
• Oversee and manage Murex environments as part of a Murex project including cooperation with database/backup/network/security teams
• Trubleshooting: diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application issues identified throught monitoring or by users
• Infrastructure review: review existing infrastructure, software configurations and mangement of processes, and re-design existing workflows for efficiency
• Requirements management: ensure that hardware and software requirements are met to support Murex releases effectively
• Application monitoring support for Monitoring team: monitoring applications and EOD batches in SIT, UAT and Production environments to ensure optimal performance
• Handover to BAU: facilitate a smooth handover to the Business-As-Usual post-release

 

Key requirements:

• BS or higher degree in Economics, Finance or equivalent Science orientated track

• Must be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and a self-starter

• Minimum 5 years experience as system/business analyst or consultant/developer in Murex platform

• Previous experience in delivering projects in financial services preferable investment banking and risk

• Solid experience in gathering and writing requirements and functional specifications in the project framework

• Murex system architecture experience

• Linux: proficient in shell scripting for automation, data parsing and management tasks

• Database knowledge: experience with Oracle/SQL for managing data within Murex environments

• EOD batch: proven experience in configuration and troubleshooting Murex EOD batches (failures, optimizations, etc.)

• Environment experience: comfortable working in both linux and Windows environments

• SQL Queries: proficient writing and executing SQL queries for data management

• Maintenance Activities: experience performing regular maintencne activities to ensure system reliability
