Project

---

We are looking for a Senior and Mid-level Murex Backoffice experts with wide experience in Murex settlement concepts, development and support experience.


As a part of project team the expert will be responsible for:

• Analysing stakeholders requirements, formulating design and developments in order to meet Back Office expectations.
• Delivering and supporting Murex, managing the quality of functional delivery and ensuring the implementation.
• Perform various levels of testing as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).
• Communicating the principles, standards, vision, and roadmaps to stakeholders and proactively addressing any questions/concerns identified.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in both business and IT to assist in defining and delivering high-quality solutions.
• Reporting on progress, issues, and showstoppers to manager and other stakeholders.
• Understanding the impact of new changes into production.
• Ensure deep collaboration across project members.
• Configuration of Operations setup and area of: instruments, static data, workflows for trades and events lifecycle management, payments and SSIs workflows, netting operations, agreements, and confirmations business logic.
• Corporate Actions implementation.
• Murex Matcher configuration.

 

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• BS or higher degree in Economics, Finance, or equivalent science-oriented track.
• Knowledge of most common traded financial instruments is a must.
• Must be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and a self-starter.
• Minimum 5 years experience as Back Office system/business analyst or consultant/developer in Murex platform.
• Previous experience in delivering projects in financial services, preferably investment banking and risk.
• Solid experience in gathering and writing requirements and functional specifications in the project framework.
• Financial instruments expertise in Murex asset classes including commodities and equities.
• Expertise in static data configuration management (calendars, SSIs, etc.) and Operations processes (netting).
• Strong knowledge in Murex Back Office workflow, contracts, payments, events, deliverables, and confirmations.
• Operations processes in Murex MxML Exchange, pre-trade workflow, post-trade workflow.
• Experience in industrial clearing network messaging concepts (SWIFT, etc.).
• Experience in delivering projects and in implementation and support of Murex MX.3 with regards to back office capabilities including linear and non-linear products.
• Excellent knowledge of capital markets products and related processes Front-to-Back.
