Project

We are looking for Expert Data Migration Testers to join a team in the banking sector. The project focuses on ensuring the quality and accuracy of data migration processes, including ETL testing, defect tracking, and advanced SQL validations. As part of the client’s team, you will play a key role in maintaining data integrity and ensuring seamless migration across systems. This is an opportunity to work on a high-impact project within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Understanding of database design
• Writing advanced SQLs to check record counts, data truncation, invalid datatypes, NULLs, and data integrity
• Knowledge of basic Database objects and relational data models
• Knowledge of ETL tools and processes
• Experience in ETL testing
• Experience in data analysis
• Ability to understand business processes
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA and qTest
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience in migration

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Writing Test Scenarios
• Executing Test Scenarios
• Identifying and tracking defects
• Ensuring Quality coverage of relevant test phases across a data migration project
• Performing ETL test validations and checks / Quality checks
