Mid Java Developer

Salary: 600 - 800 PLN/MD 

Work model: hybrid from Gdynia/Warszawa (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

The project involves the development of large-scale backend systems built on a modern microservices architecture. The platform is designed to process high volumes of data using asynchronous communication and event-driven patterns to support scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance. A strong focus is placed on horizontal scalability, high availability, and performance, as the systems are expected to operate under significant load.

This is a brand-new project, and we are in the process of building a new, dedicated team for our client. As the initiative is at an early stage, more details about the domain and business context will be shared at later stages of the recruitment process. You will work in a cross-functional environment, collaborating closely with Product Owners and other engineering teams, and taking part in technical discussions and architectural decision-making as the system takes shape.

Expected competences and knowledge

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Java Developer (Mid level)
• Strong knowledge of Java 11+ or Kotlin
• Experience in building microservices-based systems
• Good practical knowledge of Spring Boot / Spring Cloud
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka (preferred) or RabbitMQ
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous communication
• Experience working with high-throughput, large-scale systems
• Ability to design applications with scalability and high availability in mind
• Technical maturity, independence, and good collaboration skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with Product Owners and non-technical stakeholders
