Junior Quantexa Developer

Salary: 250–400 PLN/day on B2B/UZ

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łodź (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on data validation, ETL processes, and analytics support within a Hadoop-based platform environment.

The project supports risk assessment and data quality validation processes, working closely with DROC, development, and platform teams.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Act as first-line support for DROC-related requests
• Analyze and triage issues, coordinating with Dev and Platform teams
• Execute and monitor ETL runs on Hadoop infrastructure
• Support data validation and refresh Elasticsearch-based UIs
• Write and optimize Hive/Spark queries for data analysis
• Assist with configuration changes and track progress with stakeholders

Expected competences and knowledge

• Understanding of end-to-end ETL pipelines
• Strong knowledge of Hive SQL (Spark) – crucial
• Practical experience with Scala – crucial
• Good command of Shell scripting
• Experience with Cloudera (Oozie)
• Knowledge of Quantexa
• Basic understanding of Elasticsearch
