Work model: Remote or hybrid (Gdynia, Kraków or Warsaw) 

Type: Part-Time

Working hours: Required availability from 14:00 to 18:00 EST/EDT - supporting our U.S.-based client. The role requires availability on all standard U.S. working days (U.S. Bank Holidays Apply)

Project


As a Support Engineer, you will provide technical support for client based in the United States. Your main focus will be on managing service tickets and handling day-to-day IT operational tasks to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues. This role requires close collaboration with the client’s teams to maintain IT operations across the US time zone.

 

Expected competences and knowledge

  • Min. 3 years of previous experience in IT support, service desk, or similar technical support roles 
  • Strong experience with Windows OS, VPNs, and remote desktop tools
  • Experience with PowerShell and Office 365
  • Proficiency with Microsoft administrative tools 
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, clear communication, and customer service mindset
  • Understanding of IT Security principles and best practices
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required
  • Must be available during client support hours (14:00–18:00 EST/EDT)
  • Nice to have:
    • Experience with Linux system administration
    • ITIL certification
    • Cloud-related certifications (Azure, AWS)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Providing first-level IT support for internal users and a US-based client via ticketing system
  • Monitoring support queues, assign tickets, and ensuring correct categorization and prioritization
  • Performing initial troubleshooting and gathering missing information for reported issues
  • Handling escalated tickets and communicating updates to users
  • Setting up and configuring new laptops, including necessary software and user profiles
  • Troubleshooting VPN, Wi-Fi, and general connectivity issues
  • Managing user access to various platforms and tools (e.g., chatbot, Shooju, OnePassword)
  • Supporting installation and configuration of Microsoft tools, Excel add-ins, and authentication apps
