Project

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to collaborate closely with infrastructure architects in designing, implementing, and ensuring the long-term stability and robustness of infrastructure components. This role involves researching and implementing new technologies and patch sets to enhance processes, security, and system performance. Additionally, you will develop and maintain essential system documentation needed to operate and maintain the solution. A successful candidate will be service-oriented, goal-driven, self-motivated, and possess a proactive, can-do attitude.

 

What you'll be doing

• Drive automation in environment management activities, aiming for 100% automation
• Design and build fault-tolerant infrastructure solutions
• Develop highly scalable, secure, and easy-to-manage systems
• Research and recommend innovative approaches to system administration tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and performance
• Maintain and develop comprehensive system documentation

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Solid experience with Oracle stack (Weblogic, Oracle Service Bus)
• Strong knowledge of integration components such as Kafka and MQ
• Experience in Windows administration
• Expertise in high availability (HA), performance tuning, provisioning, and security (including certificate management)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (shell, bash, perl, python, etc.)
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics)
• Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Basic Java development knowledge
• Experience with application virtualization and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in deploying Java applications
• Knowledge of application development or engineering
• Familiarity with network and server virtualization
• Practical understanding of functional and non-functional testing
