IT Analyst Senior

Salary: 900-1100 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

You will join a financial sector project focused on delivering sustainable solutions within the banking and payments domain. The project involves close collaboration with business, legal, and technical stakeholders to understand business strategies and translate them into clear functional and non-functional requirements. You will work with architects, developers, and testers to ensure end-to-end requirements traceability and alignment with the target architecture. A key part of the role is maintaining high-quality requirements documentation, including use cases, process models, and architecture diagrams. You will support the delivery lifecycle by clarifying requirements, verifying implemented solutions, and providing feedback on their effectiveness.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business strategies, ensuring alignment with the target picture for sustainable solutions
• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements by working with architects, developers, testers, business, and legal stakeholders
• Translate business strategies into clear and actionable technical requirements for the IT team
• Ensure requirements traceability throughout the end-to-end development process
• Take ownership of requirements documentation, including use cases, while continuously improving documentation quality
• Support developers and testers by providing clarification, input, and feedback throughout the lifecycle
• Verify developed solutions by conducting test results.
• Deliver insights to stakeholders on the effectiveness and performance of the implemented solutions

Expected competences and knowledge

• Proven experience in IT and/or business analysis
• Hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence for documentation and task management
• Working knowledge of API development, data mapping, and process modelling
• Understanding of the banking sector and payment domain
• Practical knowledge of SQL and skills in user interface prototyping and design
• Ability to read and create architecture diagrams, including sequence diagrams
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, and familiar with international collaboration
• Experience of using Jira, Confluence

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the banking sector
• Practical knowledge of REST/SOAP API
