IT Analyst

Salary: 900-1100 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdańsk (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

You will join a financial sector project focused on the development and support of an API-driven platform used across various banking and payment services. The goal is to enable sustainable, scalable, and regulatory-compliant solutions aligned with the organization's target architecture. Your role will be essential in bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery, while working in a cross-functional, international environment.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business strategies, ensuring alignment with the target picture for sustainable solutions
• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements by working with architects, developers, testers, business, and legal stakeholders
• Translate business strategies into clear and actionable technical requirements for the IT team
• Ensure requirements traceability throughout the end-to-end development process
• Take ownership of requirements documentation, including use cases, while continuously improving documentation quality
• Support developers and testers by providing clarification, input, and feedback throughout the lifecycle
• Verify implemented solutions by reviewing and analyzing test results
• Deliver insights to stakeholders on the effectiveness and performance of the implemented solutions

Expected competences and knowledge

• Proven experience in IT and/or business analysis
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with experience in international collaboration
• Hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence for documentation and task management
• Working knowledge of API development, data mapping, and process modelling
• Understanding of the banking sector and payment domain
• Practical knowledge of SQL and skills in user interface prototyping and design
• Ability to read and create architecture diagrams, including sequence diagrams
• Strong technical understanding enabling effective collaboration with developers
• Proficiency with various analysis tools and methodologies such as UML, BPMN, and Agile frameworks

Nice to have

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the banking sector
• Practical experience with REST/SOAP APIs
• Knowledge of PSD2, PSD3, or upcoming PSR regulations
