IT Analyst

Salary: 1000-1140 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdańsk (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on building and evolving a modern Data Platform within a banking environment. As an IT Analyst, you will support the design and delivery of advanced data and analytics solutions that enable high-quality data products and drive business decision-making across the organisation. You will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional Agile teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, end-to-end data solutions, ensuring strong data quality, governance and integration across multiple systems. The project operates in a Big Data ecosystem and supports continuous platform development, optimisation and alignment with strategic banking objectives.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure delivery of high-quality IT solutions
• Contribute to building and/or rebuilding the Bank’s Data Platform
• Collaborate on the development and enhancement of data products
• Design and shape advanced data and analytics solutions
• Gather, analyse and clarify business requirements in close cooperation with stakeholders across the organisation
• Translate business needs into clear features and user stories
• Manage delivery dependencies across teams and organisational units
• Work as an integral part of a cross-functional Agile delivery team
• Drive end-to-end solution design for complex processes and systems
• Support data quality, data hygiene and analytical initiatives

Expected competences and knowledge

• Strong knowledge of SQL (mandatory)
• Experience working with complex requirements and translating them into technical solutions
• Hands-on experience in data analysis, data quality and data hygiene
• Experience working with Hive
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take ownership of tasks, features and user stories
• Strong communication skills and experience working with business users
• Solid understanding of basic concepts in machine learning, CI/CD pipelines and big data
• Ability to quickly grasp new technologies at a high level and ask relevant questions
• Solution-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively with complex end-to-end solutions
