IT Analyst

Salary: 800 - 1050 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdańsk (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on data analysis and processing within the Credit Risk domain, supporting key business decisions through data-driven insights. The role involves working with large datasets, translating business requirements into analytical solutions, and collaborating closely with both business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure accurate and high-quality data delivery.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Analyze large and complex datasets using SQL to support business and technical decision-making
• Translate business requirements into high-level and low-level solution designs
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT development teams, ensuring clear understanding of requirements
• Support testing activities, including Unit Testing (UT), System Testing (ST), and end-to-end UAT
• Contribute to data validation and ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of delivered solutions
• Assist in defining and, where applicable, creating functional test cases and validating results
• Collaborate within Agile teams, actively participating in ceremonies and ongoing delivery processes

Expected competences and knowledge

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT and at least 4 years in a Data/Business Analyst role
• Strong experience in data analysis using SQL
• Proven ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of business terminology and processes
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders
• Experience in supporting testing processes (UT, ST, UAT)
• Experience in transforming business requirements into technical solutions

Nice to have

• Functional knowledge in Credit Risk domain (nice to have)
• Experience in creating and validating functional test cases (nice to have)
• Knowledge of Python and/or SAS is an added advantage
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
