Salary: 900-1200 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 2 day per week from the office)

We are looking for an Expert Test Automation Engineer to support a range of applications and microservices used in mortgage processing. As part of the team, you will help deliver high-quality digital solutions that ensure smooth and reliable customer experiences across online and mobile platforms. This includes user-facing tools that allow customers to explore credit options and estimate mortgage costs, supporting their journey toward important financial decisions.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Ensuring all testing activities are conducted efficiently and documented according to the latest internal Testing Standards
• Continuously automating newly created test cases to maintain high test coverage
• Maintaining and refactoring the automated test code repository, following best practices and standards
• Monitoring, executing, and reviewing results of daily automated test runs
• Updating the list of automated test cases in both the repository and the test management tool
• Providing continuous fixes and implementing required code changes
• Planning and executing regression testing for each release cycle
• Supporting the team by identifying and sharing information about defects and issues early in the development process
• Reporting, handling, and verifying defects throughout the testing life cycle
• Recommending appropriate actions based on test execution outcomes
• Identifying new scenarios for automation and extending existing automated tests
• Collaborating closely with the team to ensure high quality in delivery

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5+ years of professional experience in test automation, modern UI (web) testing
• 5+ years of manual and automation testing (Functional, System & Integration, API)
• 5+ years of solid Python programming experience
• Hands-on experience using Robot Framework
• Experience in maintaining remote repositories using Git
• Proficient in API test automation (REST, SOAP)
• Strong understanding of modern testing standards, test design, and execution (nice to have: ISTQB certificate)
• Proven experience maintaining code in Bitbucket and integrating with Jenkins CI pipelines for automated daily runs
• Practical experience working with Jira and Confluence in development environments
• Good understanding of test data dependencies within varying testing contexts
• Experience with test management tools such as qTest or HP ALM
• Experience in defining, executing, and reporting tests for complex software systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (nice to have: prior experience working in international teams)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a quality-focused tester mindset
• Highly proactive, self-motivated and adaptable, with a strong willingness to learn new tools and processes
