Project

---

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer with a strong focus on designing and maintaining scalable distributed systems.

You will build and evolve high-performance backend architectures that ensure reliability, fault tolerance, and efficiency at scale. Your responsibilities will include designing RESTful APIs, optimizing system performance, and implementing secure, well-documented interfaces.

You will work cross-functionally with operations, feature teams, and product stakeholders to deliver resilient, production-grade solutions that power seamless user experiences.

 

What you'll be working on

• Design and maintain scalable distributed backend systems

• Build high-performance architectures ensuring reliability and fault tolerance

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and internal subsystems

• Optimize performance, availability, and security of production environments

• Deliver secure, well-documented interfaces and services

• Collaborate with operations and product teams to ensure seamless user experiences

• Apply modern distributed systems concepts (consensus algorithms, consistency models, fault tolerance, causality)

 

 

Skills & experience we're looking for

---

• 7+ years of experience in backend or systems engineering

• Deep understanding of Java or other JVM-hosted languages.

• Strong CS fundamentals: algorithms, data structures

• Familiarity with distributed systems concepts: consensus algorithms, consistency models, fault tolerance.

• Comfortable designing and documenting APIs and internal subsystems.

• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.

• Understanding of network protocols (TCP, TLS, HTTP) and modern authentication/authorization.

• Experience in cloud environments (AWS or others) is a plus
