Project
As an Engineering Systems IT Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and developing global engineering systems, including MCAD, ECAD, and PLM environments, while working with tools such as Siemens NX, CATIA, Creo, Mentor Graphics, and Teamcenter. You will collaborate closely with engineering and IT teams to align system architecture with business needs, manage system enhancements, testing, and releases, and ensure efficient operation across the full product lifecycle. The role also involves acting as a bridge between stakeholders and IT, driving standardization, supporting users, and optimizing engineering software ecosystems in line with organizational strategy and best practices.
Expected competences and knowledge

Minimum 3 years of experience in CAD/PLM systems or technical IT leadership roles

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

Strong knowledge of MCAD tools (e.g. Siemens NX, SolidWorks, CATIA V5, PTC Creo) and ECAD systems (e.g. Siemens Mentor Graphics)

Hands-on experience with PLM platforms, particularly Siemens Teamcenter

Understanding of IT processes and frameworks such as ITIL

Experience in implementing, maintaining, and evolving engineering software ecosystems

Familiarity with Electrical, Electronics, and Software development processes (ASPICE is a plus)

Ability to define system architectures aligned with IT strategy and business needs

Experience in software lifecycle management, including upgrades, testing, and releases

Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess impact of system and technology changes

Financial awareness (budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, license and asset management)

Excellent communication skills, including experience in user training and documentation

High level of autonomy, proactivity, and attention to detail

Very good command of English (written and spoken)

Willingness to travel internationally (up to 8 weeks per year)
Responsibilities you'll have

Administer and support global MCAD systems (Siemens NX, SolidWorks, CATIA V5, PTC Creo) in a Windows environment

Manage and maintain ECAD systems, including Siemens Mentor Graphics

Oversee administration and continuous improvement of Siemens Teamcenter PLM system

Define and evolve CAx and PLM architecture in alignment with enterprise IT strategy and engineering requirements

Collaborate with Electrical, Electronic, and Software Engineering teams to support the implementation and standardization of design frameworks

Act as a bridge between engineering stakeholders and IT, ensuring solutions meet business needs across the product lifecycle

Create and manage product roadmaps, define priorities, and maintain backlog within agile environments

Coordinate system enhancements, upgrades, and new feature rollouts

Design and execute test strategies, including test cases, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing

Monitor system usage, manage software inventory, and support license renewals and procurement processes

Analyze the impact of new technologies, hardware, and software updates on existing environments

Support continuous improvement of engineering tools, processes, and governance standards

Provide user support, training, and documentation to ensure effective adoption of systems
