DevOps Engineer / Java Developer

Salary: 1000 - 1200 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdańsk/Gdynia/Warsaw/Łódź (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who is confident in process automation, environment maintenance, and CI/CD, but who can also program in Java when the project requires it. We're seeking someone who doesn't limit themselves to a single role and is open to collaborating on tasks that span DevOps, QA, and analytics. You will be involved in a regulatory project in cooperation with Swedish government authorities. The work includes maintaining the existing infrastructure as well as developing new solutions. 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Building, maintaining, and developing CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins
• Automating deployment and administrative processes
• Maintaining and renewing Authentication & Authorization mechanisms
• Managing containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Programming in Java (Java 17) and backend development with Spring Boot
• Integrating and developing REST/SOAP APIs
• Working with SQL databases and including integration with Cloudera Hadoop
• Collaborating with QA (analyzing errors in automated tests, supporting performance testing)
• Communicating with technical stakeholders outside the Scrum team to resolve issues and implement improvements

Expected competences and knowledge

• Very good knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Good knowledge of Java (Java 17), Spring Boot, and Groovy
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs
• Practical experience with SQL and databases
• Experience working with Cloudera Hadoop 

Nice to have

• Experience working with Snowflake
• Experience working with Kafka
