Salary:

Junior: 5 000 – 10 000 PLN net + VAT (B2B)

Regular: 10 000 – 20 000 PLN net + VAT (B2B)

Senior (RTB): 20 000 – 28 000 PLN net + VAT (B2B)

 

Type of work: remote + occasional visits to the Warsaw office

Project

The project focuses on building and developing high-performance data platforms supporting large-scale e-commerce and advertising ecosystems

 

For Junior and Mid Engineers, the work involves developing and maintaining batch and streaming data pipelines, optimizing data processing jobs, and contributing to platform scalability

 

For Senior Engineers, the project is connected with Real-Time Bidding (RTB) systems. You will design and maintain ultra-low latency pipelines capable of handling millions of queries per second (QPS). The role requires a performance-first mindset and deep understanding of distributed systems, where every millisecond impacts business outcomes.

 

 

Expected competences and knowledge

 

Junior (2+ years experience):

• Experience as a Data Engineer (min. 2 years)
• Good knowledge of Python, Scala, SQL
• Experience with Apache Spark
• Understanding of distributed data processing
• Nice to have: exposure to Machine Learning projects

Mid (5+ years experience):

• Experience as a Data Engineer (5+ years)
• Strong knowledge of Python, Scala, SQL
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Experience with Apache Spark and distributed systems
• Nice to have: experience at the intersection of big data and fast data

 

Senior (RTB Domain – 6+ years experience):

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering within RTB
• Experience designing ultra-low latency pipelines (millions of QPS)
• Latency budgeting and performance optimization mindset
• Strong knowledge of Scala, Go, Python, SQL
• Experience with Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Apache Flink
• Understanding of cloud deployments and operations (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Nice to have: knowledge of Machine Learning techniques used in RTB
